Our approach

A whole-person approach, walked at your pace.

Underneath the many entry points runs a single arc. A person can enter through whichever part is most pressing.

The Six Parts

Six parts, walked in order the first time and returned to afterward, out of order, as the work asks. They are numbered here to give the work some structure, not to make a staircase.

1

Your story

Write the whole shape of how you got here, in your own words, and become the author of your own account again. Everything that follows grows from this story.

2

Your through-lines

The threads that run across your whole working life, wider than any job title — the strengths and capacities that survive a change of field.

3

Pathways

Recombine those through-lines into directions worth testing, including ones you had not considered.

4

Reality-grounding

Bring the direction into contact with the world. Talk to people already doing the work, and see the path clearly enough to choose with open eyes.

5

What’s in the way

Every obstacle has two faces: an outer face, the practical constraint, met with a move; and an inner face — the fear, the shame, the old story — met with a practiced skill.

6

Small moves

You do not think your way into a new life so much as act your way in, one low-stakes experiment at a time.

Why it works

Underneath the six parts runs one mechanism: agency.

Agency is both what the work aims at and how the work happens. People begin to move before their circumstances improve — what changes first is what they believe they can do. The parts are arranged to produce that change rather than to talk about it.

Two facesWorking the inner face cuts a wall back down to its true size, so the practical move becomes possible. Taking the practical move gives you proof that quiets the fear. Start with whichever is louder — the other loosens.
Change compoundsA small move produces a small proof. The proof returns a little agency. The next wall is slightly smaller. That is the engine, repeated.
Built by practiceUnderstand the skill, practice it small, bring back what happened. Every small move is a repetition, and repetition is what turns a skill into something you own.

Why trust this

The approach was authored, not assembled.

ReOrient was authored by Marco G. Morelli, PsyD, out of fifteen years of clinical work. Where an AI delivers the approach, the model is carrying out work a licensed psychologist authored rather than improvising.

Licensed clinical psychologist · California
GroundedBuilt on well-established traditions in psychology — narrative identity, self-efficacy, the psychology of coping.
ClearClear about what the evidence supports and what remains to be proven. Grounded in evidence-based approaches, and not called a validated treatment.
BoundedGuidance and learning — not therapy, and not crisis support. Safety & privacy
